Coldplay's Label Makes One Cold Play
Hey Coldplay fans, guess what? Your favorite band's new CD? Crippled. Yep, that's right. It even comes with an insert in the CD jacket explaining the "rules" you have to follow for your new disc. Included: Can't be ripped to MP3, won't work on a Macintosh, may not work in some DVD players, car stereos, CD-RW &DVD burners, and it even installs software to help prevent you from enjoying your new music, which you just got done shelling out $16 bucks for. Don't you just love the freedom the labels are giving you? No. You should be outraged. You paid for it, you should be able to at least rip it for personal use. Especially when they're raping you for $16 a CD. The Music Trifecta is in play... (Link -- via BoingBoing)
