Diebold CEO Out

Election Voting Machine makers Diebold are under heavy investigation regarding election fraud. It's alleged (and most likely true, IMHO), that they rigged the voting systems in Ohio and elsewhere to ensure a presidential victory for the current Idiot in Chief. Well, the CEO that supposedly promised the RNC this exact outcome has resigned amid the allegations and investigations. They're running scared because they KNOW they sold this country out. Karma's a bitch, ain't it... (Link - via Fark)

Truth's a bitch, ain't it?

All investigations--newspaper, government, independent--have revealed no "plot" to give the election to bush. The article you link too doesn't allege it either.

It's tough, but don't let facts get in the way. Ignorance is bliss.

Maybe so, but you can't just dismiss the issues: No paper trail in the system, making voting records hard to track by regular folks outside of those with direct access to the box's final tally. Flawed software that allows for backdoor access at a security level high enough to change votes. Major employee contributions to the Bush Campaign. It may be a conspiracy theory, but it holds quite a bit more water than you'd like it to.

You're right. Ignorance must be bliss. You're living proof.
